Mine's a 2005 SRT-6, so I'm not sure if affected or not, BUT even if affected, I would not be taking it in to let any of the gorillas assigned to do the job even get near enough to breath their stink on my car. I would rather disable and remove it myself and leave the damned thing out.

Go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website (NHTSA) and plug in your VIN number on the recalls webpage. If it is listed, the fix is a quick replacement of the Steering Wheel airbag that takes about 45 minutes. Before you let them take it, take a picture of the dashboard before turning over the keys (engine running), that will show the airbag light NOT LIT. Some had trouble with them popping on before giving the car back. If it is lit after the work, they didn't follow the correct procedure when they replaced it. Make them reset the airbag system before taking the car back (or have them pay the bill for an independent shop to repair it).
