MY Questions:
For a 2004 model, will I need to have the replacement module reprogrammed for my car (VIN)?
Is there a specific Model# of module to look for?
Once installed, will the DTC reset itself after driving a while (like normal vehicles), or will I need to manually reset it.
Is there a shop or anyone in or around Houston who has a DRB3, and if so; would you be willing to meet up and check/ reset any codes I may have?

BTW, if anyone has a question or needs help with a problem, I DO ALL MY OWN WORK and have fixed all the known problems, and many, many more problems I see in old posts but with no proper solution posted.
Such as the mysterious battery drain, AC blend valve (both simple intake manifold leak and solenoid change, a complete AC system replacement to include controls, thermostat gremlins, timing chain replacement and cam alignment, alternator- Do Not buy the original replacement!, mysterious warning light when all exterior bulbs appear to work, how to properly upgrade all bulbs to LEDs W/O messing with CAN BUSS, REPAIR CRACKED OR BROKEN INTERIOR TRIM, new stereo but no sound, installing a backup camera, and a laundry list more.
I'm an engineer, not a mechanic but grew up poor and learned if you can pay a man to fix it, you can read a book and fix it yourself, and I've been building pre-war hot rods and vintage engines since I was 12.
Thanks.

Hi,
Here is a link to a thread that discusses this same issue: Airbag Module There is good info in this thread and post #12 should be helpful.
Good luck!
