Re: How many "Original Owners" still own their cars?
It’s funny - I am NOT an original owner, but caught the Crossfire fever in 2011. It started with a N/A Coupe in graphite. When I sat in the SRT for the first time, I knew I had to get one. I ended up purchasing a SRT roadster and drive it almost every day. I remember, when my “Crossfire addiction” first started, my dad told me, just like any car, eventually I would get sick of it and move on to something else. Even though we own other vehicles, the Crossfire was and is my absolute #1. I do not see myself selling it in the foreseeable future.
It’s just too much fun and the engine quality is second to none. To me at least, it outshines its brother the SLK in every aspect and I think the SLK has become extremely date, while I still think the styling of the X-fire is a timeless classic.
Most people don’t know the Crossfire exists and those that do are either ill informed or come from curios. Even less know what the SRT is and it’s always fun to see modern sports cars outperformed by a car from the early 2000s.
