I have read some threads here in which members praise the improvements, but are the gains really good enough to influence the "Wow" factor? Can they make a noticeable and worthwhile improvement to the performance and handling. I would be interested in hearing from the folks on this forum about their opinions and experiences. The more specific the explanations are, the better (e.g. throttle response, mid-range RPM/MPH gains, ease in manual use of 1st gear and beneficial downshifts, etc). Would like the hear the "Good, Bad, & Ugly" as well as opinions on the value of the money spent for the gains obtained. Thanks!
p.s. I have been a member of many automotive forums, and I have found this one to be the friendliest, most helpful, and expert of all.
Specific to your current car 2004 Limited; Skip the duel intake, use the single Needswings intake, but only if you also use a larger 74 mm throttle body. The car, even with a larger throttle body can not use the additional air the duel CAI can provide; The single is adequate.
A better tune can be had from the Mercedes Swap Shop (there in CA) and also can provide a really nice tune for the transmission.
If you purchase from Needswings get their "oil catch can" right away.
Look at this linked thread it gives info as to upgraded throttle body and a whole lot more: Index

Is it worth it ~~ That's totally your call. I'v done all that and a lot more to my Limited coupe and am very glad/happy I did. I also own a modified SRT 6.
