Good to know! I was looking at this particular forum because I need to adjust my left-hand/passenger side headlight aim. It's pointing much lower than the right-hand/driver side headlight. My handbook refers to a "levelling bubble", but that's nowhere to be seen on my car and the handbook instructions do not make sense either. I have attached a photo looking at the rear of the passenger-side headlamp cluster. You can see some sort of adjuster on the right - looks like an intermeshing cog system - may need to turn both at the same time to make the adjustment. Can anyone confirm this before I break something? I assume that the fitting with cables protruding is the electric levelling system that we referred to earlier.
The issue you may have with the beam being lower on one side than the other is in actual fact an issue with the bulb being incorrectly positioned within the bulb retaing clamp. There is a whole set of articles relating to this on the forum. I have found in the past that it is possible for a bulb to droop down when you click the retaining clamp into place. You assume all is well until you find a similar situation that you are having.
