@AlCapone Referring to your picture above in post #17 The white gearing is for lateral/horizontal adjustment. There is another set of gears on that same headlight housing but at the other edge still on the back. It is hard to get to with the headlight mounted in the car, BUT IT IS THERE!

The vertical manual adjustment is located on the top of the motor. It is white and show in post #12. Thus there are three individual manual adjustment gears on each headlight housing; Lateral/horizontal for each light (HI on a side and Low beam to the other side) located on the back of the housing, and one adjustment for the vertical, which effects both lights, located on the motor. All the adjustment gears are white.

The hole shown in your photo above (post #17) should be capped; Nothing fits or goes through that hole.
