Thanks for the info. I had read up on this a decade ago and decided there was more risk fusking with the Homelite module than applying a 1/2" square of tape. My days of doing more than detailing the Crossfires (and changing headlights, air and cabin filters) are over. The knowledge from engine rebuilding, brake work, suspension is still there from 30-40 years ago but the flexibility is gone. Easier to take them (and my Audi A4 and Maserati Ghibli GranLusso SQ4) to my reliable indie mechanic. All is not lost - I still do maintenance on my 1977 Goldwing.
