I doubt that the connectors are the problem, but the pin connections in the RCM are bad. I would recommend buying a new RCM from amazon

And try it. If it works keep and send the original to tighed1 to repair it. If that's not the problem, you can return it. You should always keep a spare RCM, Crankshaft Position Sensor (Bosch only) and Camshaft Position Sensor (Bosch) in your car. They are the most common items to fail in our cars.
