Default Re: Can't Start - no Crank

Do not give up on this. You know there is power at the ignition switch because all the instruments light when you move the switch to the first position.
You need to trace that purple wire and check both ends for continuity. Why is there no power on the purple wire at the Pulse Module? That wire comes off the start positioin on the ignition switch and runs to the Pulse Module. It should have power when you turn the switch to start at B1 and when the key is at rest at the on position there should be power at B2

The purple wire comes off the ignition switch and goes to the connector C 200. One wire from the ignition switch to C200, BUT at C200 the output side of the connector has two purple wires. One of those goes to the pulse module and the other goes to the Power Train Control Module (also called the ECU) One purple wire goes to connector C4 #25 On the ECU, the other purple wire goes to the Pulse Module. So when you move the ignition switch to "start" 12 volts should be present at both the Pulse Module B1 and at the ECU C4 purple wire #25.

You need to check for power at those two locations. You said there is no power at the female B1 connector at the pulse module. WHY ? Trace that wire from the ignition switch to C 200 and then on to the female connector at the Pulse Module.
