Re: Let me get something straight...
FirebaseD until your last post I was afraid we had lost you to the other side. You know those that either didn't do their homework before they bought their car or are possibly missing a chromosome that causes them to become quickly disillusioned, like kids do. Glad to see your still with us.
dontlietokids.net I would say the majority of the owner's DO love their cars. There is only a small fraction out there that were seduced by the Crossfire's looks that blew their wad for looks instead of performance who are dissatisfied now. Most of us bought the car knew what we were buying, a very stylish touring car with above average power and handling built by Mercedes Benz. Some may have spent more, but most spent under $30K and I am probably one of those at the top end spectrum; I spent $29K in April 2004 which included the extended warranty. I have no regrets about buying the Crossfire and I have no qualms about the deprecation it is no worse then many of mainstream cars we have owned. Besides the uniqueness factor far makes up for any deprecation, we still get people that pace us along the highways and ogle the car at rest areas.
