One glance should have told him, the base coupe comes in one color (black) and is TOTALLY blacked out. The only chrome is on the grille. The door handles, the side vents, even the windshield surround (which is silver on the 2004 and the 2005 limited), is blacked out. No fog lights, no leather, no subwoofers! No dealer would have gotten all the parts to make it a limited from a base, it would have cost too much and way too much time to install. I have a black limited coupe, and probably would have blacked it out if the base model did not exist, now I don't want it to look like the cheap car. I would go back to the dealer (with the VIN info) and confront the salesman or talk with the business manager or even the owner. They need to know about when there underlings are trying to rip off the customers, especially in this day and age with the internet and boards like this. It could cost them TONS of business, and I would warn them as such.
