Call it just lazy. My wife has already given me grief about it. In my daily life it just happens that the first door I open is the hatch, be it to put my brief case in, get my discs, put my horns in or out when I gig, etc etc. I DO understand the reasoning behind the security feature. I chose to bypass it.
