On my crossfire the hatch and driver door open with the first push. I too almost always put something in the back before I get in, so this is fine. Since I leave for work alone every morning NOT unlocking the passenger door with the first push seems to make sense to me.
I've disabled the horn report when locking, and I have to admit, that unless I hear it lock, see the lights flash or see the locks go down I do a double take to make sure it's locked.
