There have been a lot of discussions on this topic, and in the end I ask myself, "who really cares?". I suppose that some want comfort knowing that they made the right decision in buying their Crossfire. I'm a bit saddened that the company blew the marketing plan for this car...but I don't regret my choice one bit. What the future held for my car didn't factor into my decision. In some ways it will serve to lengthen my enjoyment as I will not have new feature envy when I see new Crossfires going by in colors that I'd consider, or with new chrome moldings that I wanted (I've already placed after market orders for mirror surrounds and side "vent" covers).

I bought my Roadster because I thought it was the prettiest looking car I'd seen in many years. It was a purchase I considered for more than a year before making a final decision. My regret??? Waiting so long.

If Chrysler never sells another Crossfire, or if the product is discontinued, it doesn't diminish my love for the car in the least. I may be upside down on my loan right now...but who cares? The money I kept invested rather than using for my purchase is making more than my interest payment, so I'm still okay with my decision. At the same time, as more current owners bail and grab whatever they can for their Crossfire, it puts more after-market upgrades on the market at, I hope, equally bargain prices.

My only true concern is that as the original owners leave the forum, that the real technical knowledge of the average owner may decline. No slam against the latest owners, but my opinion is that more of the earliest owners are mechanical wizards that saw the great potential of this Mercedes cousin. As has been discussed in this forum, there is more knowledge of the workings of this machine in these posts than in the general population of Chrysler service bays. No point crying about it...I'd love for the newest members to show me wrong.
