Well if you guys say the S2K is faster then OK, as for the two I raced, not from a dig but from 30 mph rolls. They never passed me and never gained any distance, so I guess they where ill experienced drivers.

I did Smoke two different mustangs a couple weeks back, I have no idea what was under the hood of either. But I could guess, one was a 60's fastback probably 289 with a 4 speed, I consistantly walked away from him at 2 stop lights by half a car length. The other was a 1998 mustang, but I can't say it was a GT, I wasn't paying attention. But we went at it for 3 stop lights and he could never take me out of the hole, I just blew him a way all night, hell it was probably a V6.
