I have the two tone seats and I do notice a bit of distress on the side where I slide in and out of the car. I try to be careful if I'm wearing slacks or pants that could scratch the leather...jeans with brass brads, pocket details, and I use the buttons to move the seat to the far back position. (I'm sure you're is always at that setting). I almost turn sideways to enter the car, so my weight is not on the side panels but in the middle of the seat. Yet, I do agree, leather care products are a must.
