Default Re: OEM Oil Filter

Just called my local shop... he didn't have any 000-180-26-09 filters... he said that the filter has been superseded with a 000-180-31-09. The price on this filter is $19.50.

On a positive note, he sounded knowledgeable and knew about the proper oil volume and recommended Mobile 1 0W-40 Synthetic before I mentioned it. So, maybe my local shop isn't a bunch of Retards.

So, anyone know about this new filter? He said it seemed like a paper filter.
