i would say a higher quality shift **** that offers more weight as a counter weight would be the best modification available right now... that and plenty practice... i've driven cars with 4 times the power (few 700 hp drag cars) that are easier to shift than my stock Xf...

Haha, yeah I know when I first got mine, I found it really weird to shift.
3 months later I got this thing down, just have to memorize where the revs are at for each gear at all speeds. It takes awhile but you get used to it, now I kinda like the slow throttle, because it allows me to just jab the throttle quickly with my foot and it always seems like it knows what rpm to go too.

Do you have an automatic or a manual? I wouldn't waste my time with a lighter flywheel for city driving, the stock wheel is optimize, now if your road racing thats a different story. You can make some more HP by bolting on the forged SRT rims as long as they are lighter than stock cast pieces. Loosing rotational weight from a flywheel might give you idle problems, but taking weight off the rims is the way to go, roughly for about every 1 lbs. removed from a wheels weight it's like adding 9 hp to the engine. and if your really nuts about shedding weight get some cross drilled rotors, if your worried about cracking the rotors just have the rear rotors drilled, that might shave a **** hairs worth of weight off your driven wheels, but hey every little bit helps! : )
