This was discussed in a thread a few days ago...I still feel that the oil extractor can't get all of the dirt from the bottom of the pan using a 1/4 inch tube, but others believe differently. I still like to do it the conventional way and use the drain plug.
Again, the best way to be sure is to test it yourself. There is no way that posts on a forum will convince the unconvinced. However, one member claimed to have sucked the oil out and then pulled the plug....and nothing came out...not a drop. For the ease and the cleanliness, and the support of a variety of MC boards, I'll use the sucker.
