Default Xenon Confusion

Hi everyone, I have noticed alot of people have been installing kits 6,000k and above.
The thing is the crossfire has projectors so ideally you want to be using bulbs at 4,100k.

By doing this you will be killing two birds with one stone:

1. 4,100k is daylight white equivalent to direct sunlight, anything higher and the lumens of light decrease, so you can imagine how much of the road you light up.

2. I think most people install hids wanting that blue/purple look, well that effect has nothing to do with the colour of the bulb but the housing projector that the bulb is put in. The lens and the shield of the projector brake the white light down resulting in that blue/purple look when viewed from certain angles.

HID/xenon related all car manufacturers use 4,100k bulbs but some use different projectors from each others, which is why some seem more/less blue/purple than others.

Back in 2004 the very first day I bought my crossfire I change the headlights to xenon, couldn't understand why this wasn't an option when buying the car, anyway hope this helps.
