I think I know what noise you both are discussing... The suspension noise is the noise that is most prevalent when first backing up on a cold day I think. You put it in reverse with the brake on, and the car lurches back a tad, making the "clack" sound... Then as you back out and hit the brake, it makes the "clack" sound again. Seems to only happen in reverse, so not a big deal... Almost like a slightly loose rear bolt on the top-hat of the left rear strut. More than likely a torque-down issue.

The other is more of an interior "clickety-clackety" like two pieces of plastic banging into each other. Heard inside the car only when it's quiet (no radio) behind the driver...

These are sort of the quirky noises the car makes... But, I'd like to know what causes each one and get it fixed if possible... The suspension one is of course more important.
