Here is the article on the older kit:

The newer versions is coming to me over an e-mail soon.
Bottom line for this upgrade:
I just called Thomas Knight and he actually has done one of this on a xfire and he got 5 lb of boost and about 75 HP (with the old kit in 2005 for $6K on a silver xfire, whose is it?). He offered the new kit to me at $1,600. Then I got to get 2 batteries and custom pipes from the super charger to the throttle body (our engine lid would be nothing more then for looks) so all parts for $2,200. The labor is 15-20 hours from a competition audio shop at $40 hr = $800. So now we can discuss 75 HP at $3K.
The new kit:
- no need for a new alternator.
- no need for a NOS like button, it will be gas pedal operated.
- 2 extra batteries instead of 4, they will do 10 1/4 mile runs and recharge in 1 hour of driving on a stock xfire.
No there is no dyno on the silver xfire, unless we can find the owner. There are dynos on other vehicles for now. It would be nice to get a Florida/Miami volunteer for this part, if not any one will be fine.
