The SLK55 is the 171 chassis, not the 170 chassis like our cars. That thing was built around the V8.
It's going to be tough to shove a V8 into one of our cars. You will probably have to move the transmission back to fit everything. That's a bunch of work.
I'd go with the AMG 5.4 V8 instead of the Hemi. It's a much more compact package.
What came with the 5.4 amg motor? And what years? Thanks.
I am planing this as a long term project. Prob in a few years when I get a different daily driver.
