Default Re: update on the science project

While not quite unholy, it's not too far from weapons grade horsepower.

I put down 657 hp and 742 tq at the wheels a few years ago. It was packing in excess of 500 ft/lbs from 2,800 through 6,000 rpm. Gotta love having anywhere torque.
That was back when I was blowing 17 psi through a carburetor and giving it a little rubbing alcohol on the side.
Now I've got distributorless fuel injection and swapped the junkyard heads for some Edelbrock aluminum heads.
The fuel pressure regulator failed and the new one sprays fuel like it's going out of style. I'll try to fix that little issue this weekend when I work on my brake conversion.
After that is done, we'll see what it's got.
