I used to mount real mag wheels and they are a PIA. They have to be done by hand and hit the least little hole in the road and they are done, they bend real easy. My buddy had a set of real American's on his '66 Vette for about a month and they just got to messed up with street driving. The carbon fiber is probably a better choice at least on the street. My guess is they have to be more durable but probably still a hand mount.
