Besides being lighter than power seats, most aftermarket street seats have better back support, but my real reason for switching to a manual adj. seat is for increased head and leg room.
A manual seat sits lower because there are no electric motors or brackets in the way, and the extra leg room gained from a thinner upright will allow you to incline the seat further, thus making it more comfortable.
