Default Re: Crossfire Maintenance Costs

Since the Crossfire has only been around for three years, very few people have had to spend much on maintenance or repairs. A large majority of all Crossfires are still under their bumper to bumper warranties - so any repair cost haven't been passed on to the owner. Additionally, there is also 7/70 powertrain protection on most Crossfires.

Typical scheduled maintenance will run around $125 for an oil change and a variety of checks. However, you only need to do this every 8K miles or so.

Tires are expensive as is typical for sports cars. It will cost around $1K for a new set of tires (more or less depending on which tires you buy and where you buy them). If you drive conservatively most of the time, tires will typically last 25-30K miles.

Insurance for the Crossfire is reasonable and would probably cost less than say a Mustang or Honda Civic coupe.
