Well, as of Christmas Eve, I've taken the car to 132 mph.
I drove 570 miles from Nashville TN to Kansas City KS. There was a spot in there with another fellow where we could open up. We cruised at 130 for a couple miles.
Very very nice ride.
At another point earlier in the trip, I was doing about 120ish and drove over a divot/seam in the highway. No big deal or uncommon on many highways.
However, my front tires did leave the ground for a millisecond. I didn't care for that feeling of them returning to the ground. Didn't loose control, nor did the tires skitter or anything serious... Just that sense of floating suddenly went away with a return of the stiff suspension feeling.
I'd like to know what others who do run their cars hard and often have to say about traveling on 'older' highways at higher speeds.
