I have been home since last November. I served a year in Iraq and made it home safely. It was my second war after serving during Desert Storm. Your son made a sacrifice some will say was for nothing. Time will speak differently. History will see this as important, necessary and heroic. We have had to choose sides. Your son did and he will be remembered for thinking of others before himself.
