I've tried a bunch, but I always come back to Turtle Wax brand Zip Wax Car Wash. It comes in a huge 64 ounce bottle, about $8 @ Walmart. I don't lose suds, but if I did, I'd just add more soap and lather it up again with the spray nozzle. I like lots of suds to help float away the dirt.

The worst I've ever tried was Zymol!

Also, the blue wash mitts that Walmart carries are great!
