Understanding frustration...
A little rant... probably pointless so ignore... it's for my therapy...
I think the Crossfire had a huge potential of being a wonderful car. Unlike others I have fortune of owning one without tranny or engine problems. However, I have quite a few body problems (including one that all crossfires seem to have). However, it seems that as soon as I get one fixed (when the dealer finally listens) then another pops up.
Many have complained about the performance not equaling the looks, I have been satisfied. Sure a little more is nice but that won’t make me want to sell the car.
My problems have stemmed from body/chassis problems. This car is a GT. This is the first GT that I feel so frustrated with driving on the road. I had a driver side door latch problem which caused rattle, my trunk latch... again causing rattle, now I have a rattle coming from where the sear belts come out of the side... I have read about that problem but the dealer doesn’t hear anything... there is another noise coming from the trunk area now... too much bass in the door speakers caused the whole door to rattle (the filters helped) and the DAMN BLASTED WIND NOISE!!!
FREAKING HONDA CIVICS MAKE LESS NOISE THAN THIS CAR AND THEY ARE NOT GTs!!! WTF?!?!?! THIS CAR IS SO FRUSTRATING!!! I CANT ENJOY A SUNDAY DRIVE BECAUSE TOO MUCH CRAP IS DISTRACTING ME!!!
My rant is finished... didn’t want to pay $200 for an appointment and I can't punch my girlfriend.
