I'm going to get my oil changed today. I'm so pissed how can the people over at car max ignore the damn sticker that says 0w-40 is recommended. Freaking dumbas*es!!! Let me know your opinions cause if you think I did damage i need to go throw a fit at carmax.
Gohoward11,

Where do you live? The numbers are a viscosity range. Zero is for very cold climates. 40 is for high temperatures. Here in SoCal it can be hard to find 0-40 oil because we never have severe cold as they do in some of the other areas.

It is more important that they used synthetic oil. If you don't trust Carmax, check with a local dealer. If you don't trust them, check with a local mechanic that specializes in MB.
