Let's say i get it done and there seems to be no apparent problems for a week and then later on maybe some lights on the dash starts turning on (eg. abs, check engine, etc.).

Would bringing back the ECU to its original program correct the problems (given that they are directly related to the ecu programming) or am i looking at irreversible damages?

Also, the car will see some track time, will that cause any other problems or magnify it?
