You know, it happens mostly when cold, but it will also happen [not as often] when at normal operating temps. Let me try to explain how it happens in both auto and manual mode.

When in drive and I accelerate very smoothly soon after it upshifts and slightly bogs I notice the surge, usually after exiting a turn. I believe it is the 2-3 shift.

Now when I manually put it into first and accelerate hard it turns into more of a hesitation, this happens while in first. I can swear too while driving I hear what sounds like a blow off valve from a turbo when that happens but I ain't got one.

I guess I should take it in and have them look at it.
