Yes...what SRT6 & Stryfox said this is actually the start of the problem. When my heaters went out my Wife and I felt the same thing...the seats got very hot on the low setting. The next day they did not work, my theory is that the controller goes haywire and then burns out the elements or wiring for the elements. This problem has not reoccurred since having my seats replaced.
