for those familiar with previous threads regarding problems that I have had with my crossfire .... (see post here)
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...=1169&start=15
just thought I would let you know what today has revealed.
Yesterday, went in and talked to my dealer.....
As you may have noticed I have always held that my local dealership/shop was NOT the problem... that it was in fact a matter of availability of parts that was the root cause of the problem... Anyway... I went in yesterday and had a chat with my sales manager, explaining to him that it was 'nothing personal' and that it was obvious that my car already qualified for the lemon law process.
I suggested that, rather than 'jump through the hoops', why not just ask his zone manager if they would consider just 'stepping up to the plate, accepting the responsibility, and realizing that the facts were there to justify a resolution'. He said words to the effect that he had never known any of the mfg's to do this, but nonetheless, considering our 'past history' together (several previous car purchases) he would give it a shot!
Well, tonight he called.. Chrysler has accepted this .. and has offered to replace with an exact duplicate car! VOILA! Never hurts to ask!
When one is located, I will have a new car
Gotta love it!
Now that's what I call "5 star" service!
Way to go "ALEXANDER MOTORS" Fond du Lac WI
Way to go Daimler-Chrysler!
There's hope for others! Pursue with diligence and respect.... good things may come from it
