Re: Top 10 future collector cars
Hi... I'm new here... but not new to car collecting, valuation, or similar automotive endeavors*. There is really only one reliable place to scope out emerging classics... Hemmings Motors News... EVERYTHING else is 2nd and guessing!
Now... I DO believe the Crossfire will attain a certain amount of collector status based on its overall rarity (kinda like the Buick Reatta... or the Caddy made by Pininfarina ... can't remember its name off hand).
For true and real collector status, the Crossfire will have to withstand the withers and ravages of time... if this group stays devoted... and fix tips (like the door rust issue) are brought up and shared... the CF may just get to become a true collectors car...
Btw... I'm hoping to learn more about the CF... considering finding one locally (Portland Oregon)... any other OBVIOUS boo boo s anyone has caught???
* - some of the classics I've owned; '66 GT350H, '67 GT500, '69 TVR Vixen, '64, '68, and '70 Volvo 1800, 1969 Alfa GTV 1750... current car... 1987 Toyota Corolla GTS coupe (emerging classic @ Hemmings motor news Feb 2005).
