no car, besides the srt-4, just about ever, has made the amount of horsepower the maker claims. that is because the amount of horsepower that is advertised is how much horsepower the engine makes, not how much goes to the ground through the wheels. the drivetrain and accessories zap up some of the power, usually between 15%-20%. my stock car made 199 hp to the wheels, and after the tune, made 220.1, so my horsepower increased by 21 hp.
do a search for wheel horsepower vs. crank horsepower on google if you are still confused. then buy the speedinnovations ecu upgrade!
