Hi All,

Recently, the clutch return spring on my Crossfire came off because the arm on the pedal box it attaches to has snapped.

So I need a new pedal box put in to re-attach the spring to...

• Do I really need this clutch return spring attached?
• Does anyone have any idea how long it would take to replace the pedal box?

I want to get it replaced because it feels like my beautiful car isn't whole without it. However, it might take a long time (read: cost a lot) to replace. The part itself is cheap, but the Chrysler guys haven't dealt with this before and have no idea how long it will take. The part also is not stocked in the UK, so needs to be shipped in from abroad.

Any information anyone can give me on pedal boxes/clutch return springs in the Crossfire will be most appreciated.
