Knowing what the heck their doing? That's what the instructors are for...
Make sure you follow the "bedding in" procedure for the Porterfield pads... Otherwise they'll SQUEAK for the first 1,000 miles...
Good choice BTW... They disperse heat very well because they are Carbon / Kevlar... You'll still get a bit of grimey dust, but they will keep you from brake fade...
