Exclamation The unthinkable has happened, my xf has been scratched!

While the garage for my new XF is being prepped, I left her outside and we had a bad nor'easter... I wasn't thinking it'd be too bad. Turns out to be an ice storm... Ice built up on the front of my XF and I was determined not to touch the ice at all in fear of scratching. I turned on the car and left it for 5 mins... unbelievable it heated the ice just enough to have the ice SLIDE OFF THE HOOD... leaving 3 scratches on the hood of my brand new XF !!!

I've been traumatized for pretty much the whole day... I immediately took her to the body shop where I was told the whole hood would have to be repainted... !!!

I'm going to wait till the weather gets a little better to get the work done. In the meantime I was wondering what are the effects of having the hood painted while the rest of the car isn't. Should I worry about color mismatch overtime etc, etc? I'm so pissed!!

Should I have the whole car repainted?? The scratches look pretty minor but I can fit my nail in one of them... Should I try having it buffed out? Should I have the whole car repainted?? ARGHHH!!! Someone give me some words of consolment!!!
