Wow, thanks so much for all the input. Your advice is well appreciated, and feel free to keep it coming. I am very interested in the SRT6 - price being the main factor though. I live near Cape Girardeau, MO - and haven't found a single lot nearby that has one I could even look at. A dealer in Illinois about an hour away said he frequently gets them as lease program cars that have been leased out to corporations for a year and then he sells them. We are supposed to go over there Friday - his wife just happens to drive one so he's gonna let us take a look at hers and hopefully go for a ride in it.
And yes, it will be an everyday driver. Right now I'm driving a '78 Chevy Nova that is really seen its better days. I like it because it's different - you don't see one on every corner - which is one thing about the Crossfire that really attracted me. I need a new car, and I abhor family cars. I wanted something sporty, yet practical enough that I could drive every day and take on trips.
