Default Re: Xfire's Best Features

Just thought I'd put them all in one list... keep 'em comin'.

Convenience: Cabin Air Filtration System - Fresh Clean Filtered Air inside Cabin helps cut down on cabin dust.

Convenience: Recirculation Button - Prevents outside air (dust and odors) from entering your vehicles cabin.

Convenience: REST position on the A/C button – blows air for 20 min. while car is turned off.

Convenience: Locking Gas Door, on both coupes and roadsters.

Convenience: The center console locks (roadsters only).

Convenience: Speed Sensitive Wipers - Wipers will change from normal mode to intermittent mode while stopped to prevent the wipers from going across a dry windshield.

Convenience: Integrated Key Remote - The key and remote are one piece. The key flips out of the remote like a switchblade.

Convenience: Telescoping Steering Wheel.

Convenience: Automatic darkening rear view mirror ('04 models only).

Convenience: Door pockets.

Convenience: Radio can be operated without key.

Convenience: Manual override switch for the Auto Rear Spoiler (not on SRT), so you can put it up and leave it up!

Convenience: Rear window defroster on and the outside rear view mirrors defrost and also heated washer fluid (heated it to 165 degrees).

Convenience: The Roadsters actually have a decent trunk (especially with the top up).

Convenience: Dual climate temperature controls.

Convenience: Heated seats.

Convenience: Dual 'one touch down' power windows.

Convenience: The HomeLink Universal Transceiver - replaces up to three remote controls (hand-held transmitters) that operate devices such as garage door openers, motorized
gates, or home lighting. The transceiver triggers these devices at the push of a button. The transceiver operates off your vehicle’s battery and charging system: no batteries are needed.

Convenience: Umbrella Hook. Your Crossfire is equipped with an umbrella hook. This
feature is located behind and between the two seats, just above the map pocket.

Convenience: You can turn on the fog/driving lights without the headlights on.

Convenience: Floor mats have snap anchors so they don't slide around.

Convenience: You can turn off the dome light completely via a sliding the dome light switch to the off position - so when you open the door, it will not come on. Nor will the cargo area light.

Convenience:
Then there is the worlds best ashtray with coin holder hidden under the front cover of the ash tray

Convenience:
Not one but two vanity mirror sliding covers.

Convenience: Roadster Top Down switch to raise and lower both windows together at the same time

Convenience: Roadsters only when you turn the Roof Latch to unhook and lower the rag-top roof...both windows lower automatically.

Serviceability: Top accessible oil filter element - that is easily removed without mess.

Serviceability: Light Outage Indicator With the key in the ignition switch turned to the ON/RUN position, an indicator light comes on. It should go out when the engine is running. If the indicator light does not go out after starting the engine, or if it comes on while driving, it indicates a failure in the parking light, taillight, stoplight, or low beam headlight. The indicator light will come on when the exterior light fails. If a brake light fails, the light outage indicator will come on when applying the brake and stays on until the engine is turned off.

Serviceability: Tire Pressure Monitoring System - A light will illuminate on the dash if the tire pressure is too low. It shouldn't replace your own checking but it helps.

Serviceability: Flexible Service System - Helps you keep track of when service is due and what service is due.

Serviceability: Oil Level Sensor - Alerts you when the oil level is too high or low.

Serviceability: Anti Tow Away Alarm - When engaged if someone tries to tow the car the alarm will go off and the lights will start to flash.

Safety: Electronic Stability Program (ESP) - The ESP enhances directional control and reduces driving wheel spin of the vehicle under various driving conditions. (The ESP system corrects for over/under steering of the vehicle by applying brakes to the appropriate wheel. Engine torque is also limited. The ESP warning light, located in the instrument cluster, starts to flash as soon as the tires lose traction and the wheels begin to spin.)

Safety: Deck lid Internal Emergency Release. That is for some reason that you find yourself stuck in the trunk GLOWS in the dark.

Safety: Night Security Illumination - For added security when exiting the vehicle after driving with the exterior lights on, the lights will switch on again for approximately 30 seconds after closing the last door. The lights-on timing can be changed at your authorized dealer.

Safety: The headlight switch also features a European marker light setting where you can turn on the marker/running lights on one side or the other of the car. This is for when you are pulled on the side of the road at night (besides the hazard lights)

Safety: Polite headlights - the top of the beam is cut of.

Safety: Plus it has that little strap on the back of the passenger headrest for a child seat strap

Performance: Mercedes Benz M112 V6 Engine - one of the most advanced V6 production engines on the planet (produces 215 hp and 229 lbs ft tq non-supercharged).

Performance: Automatic Transmission Program mode selector switch - The transmission is provided with a selector switch for Standard “S” and Winter/Wet “W” (snow and ice) program modes.

Performance: Full independent front and rear suspension.

The design is timeless, gorgeous and gothic; it will never be dated or go out of style with those who appreciate fine automotive art.

Besides the great looks, and excellent handling, personally I think one of the best "features" I've found when it comes to owning this car is the great members on this web site.
You couldn't ask for a better support system.
