It doesn't hurt the car at all. Nor does it void your warranty. It's totally transparant to the tech.s. It does give a little better fuel mileage. I too tend to keep the cars I like for a long time. I plan to keep this car for a very long time. I'm planning to keep it so long that I'm thinking of what I may do to it when the warraty expires.

One last thing.... Did the Upsolute person tell you that you can go back to the stock chip any time you want. My Upsolute guy told me that he would put mine back to stock for free withing 30 days of having it done. But, I can't see a reason in the world to have it reversed!!!
