I really don't think its any hotter, I removed the intake ports behind the grill, so there getting a good amount of air. As far Hot or Cold...the stock intake or True cold air as everyone says, isn't really that cold...have you ever gone for a drive and after some time pop your hood and grab a hold of the stock intake tubes...yep, there pretty damn hot! So the air traveling into your engine is heated regardless.
