my '06 plate was registered over here in the uk 1 june 2006 but the date of manufacture is aug 2005 and a production no of 083110.
and i changed the registration to an earlier one "cro5fre".

This is by far the highest production no. I have heard of. The next highest that has been mentioned on the forum was around 65000 (anyone please correct me if I am wrong.). If your number is 83110, I think we are going to be seeing a LOT MORE '06s being offered.
