Hi,
Did Chrysler offer any discount in the lease end purchase price? I have 5 more months of lease to go, I want to purchase the car if the lease end buyout was reduced a bit. Thanks in advance.

I didn't originally want the Crossfire because I had a 2005 Mustang GT on order, but when Ford started screwing around with alot of us, I made a spur of the moment decision and leased the Crossfire. Initially I liked the car and still do, but could never really wrap my arms around the car. At that point I knew I made a mistake and tried getting out of it. Again, its not because the car isn't good, it is, no doubt about it, but as an enthusiast it wasn't going to work. I always felt like I was driving a nice car that was someone else's, something I liked, but would never buy. Even though I'm taking a hit on the car its the right choice for me.
The car has done everything I've asked of it and it never complained one bit. The mileage is great, especially on the freeway, the perf is great having run a 14.8 @94 mph in it, freeway cruising at 100-130 is rock solid, handling the curves of the world famous Dragon was a breeze, it really shined there.
I will always have fond memories of the car and will probably be the only sports car I'll ever own (hopefully I get a Vette one day).
So if that's the case I can say I had a good one for sure and in 20 years when I'm a carshow somewhere and see one I can say "I had one of those and it was a blast!"
In closing I'd like to say that I'm not going anywhere either. Even if I'm a "troll" I can still contribute to this site. Being a part of a car community is like a big family, so the car brought us all together, we take it from there.
