The short answer is yes. If the car is within 48 months and 48K miles of it's in service date, then you can purchase a DC service contract for it. Here is the link for a DC dealer that sells contracts on line and their prices are really good.
My brother works for a DC dealer, and he told me that these prices are $50 over dealer cost.

If it is an '04, it should have a transferable 7/70 powertrain on it. Depending on when it's in service date was, you may or may not have to pay a $100 transfer fee.
