I live in Florida and tend to have the AC directed to my feet and close the vents up top in order to force all the air down. I drive around with the top down more then up and so far nothing negative has happened.

And nice to hear that someone is 'special' over there with having only 3 Crossfires! Sweet... enjoy, be safe and stay cool!
