The dealer up the street from me has a Black SRT coupe that when I looked at it back in Jan '06 they had it sitting on there lot for 1.5 years already. Well, they laughed at what I told them they were selling for and the paint from not being kept up looked horrible. The car had spider webs all over the trunk, all the wheels, attached to the mirrors, attached to the bottom of the door sills, just everywhere. And then they weren't even bothering to lock this car up at night. I went over several nights in a row before driving it and it was unlocked every night. Well, it's still sitting there 15 months later. The used cars on the lot next to this new Crossfire looked so much better and cared for. I'll have to stop up and see what they have it marked down to. It was about 37k the last time I stopped by.
I'm not surprised at the condition of the one they put on display.
